Hello, my name is Pam Shifrin, I am a massage therapist and founder of Local Revival. Since my Vail arrival, I have felt that “home sweet home” feeling and I knew I was going to plant roots here. I always wanted to live in Colorado since I traveled here as a teenager playing in a national softball tournament in Boulder. I am originally from a small town in Massachusetts, and had never heard of Vail until 2012 when I moved to Denver to assist in the opening on a new massage school, Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy. I am forever thankful for that opportunity, as it has brought me to you!
As my clientele and network continue to grow in Eagle County, I wanted to create an environment more fitting for my clients, myself and other therapists. A professional business space with a really comfortable feel, without the spa prices. Myself, and all of the Local Revival therapists, want to take the time to get to know you and what you are looking to achieve from the session. Our goal is to help facilitate positive change moving forward and while not taking away from hands on time.
I also wanted to bring Float Therapy to the valley. Just one float proved to me that it created an environment we never thought we needed. Our locals and tourists live the ultimate lifestyle, work hard/play harder, and those mountains do not go easy on us. We never stop, and even when we do our bodies and minds are still being stimulated in some way. Float Therapy gives us that opportunity to stop and breath. Learn more about Floating here. Let’s float!
If you see me out on the mountain or cruising in my jeep, please say hello! Meeting new people and experiencing new cultures fascinates me, which is why I love to travel. It puts fire in my soul, and I try to ignite it a few times a year. I have made a vow to myself since moving to Colorado, every year I will go someplace I have never been. So far, right on track, but there is so much out there. I would love to hear your travel experiences when we meet.
